Riva has achieved quite a feat with the new 90 Argo, creating a high-speed superyacht with a main-deck owner’s suite, that’s just 90ft long. That makes it uniquely attractive to owner-drivers, as it’s well within the size limit to be driven without a master’s qualification. This is the ultimate owner-driver’s superyacht.
Its sleek design and powerful engines allow for a top speed of 28 knots, making it a great option for those who want to enjoy both luxury and speed on the water. The interior is also beautifully designed, with a spacious salon, fully equipped galley, and three guest cabins. Overall, the Riva 90 Argo is a remarkable achievement in yacht design, offering a unique combination of speed, luxury, and practicality.
The 90-foot yacht is the latest addition to the new-generation Riva flybridge range and complements the highly successful Riva 100’ Corsaro and the Riva 110’ Dolcevita. The new yacht combines and reinforces the unique selling points of its predecessors, with particular emphasis on the exterior styling distinguished by a sleek and dynamic profile and the generous use of glass for the hull-mounted windows, from the stern to the wide-body owner’s suite on the main deck and on the raised pilothouse.
This is the 90 Argo’s trump card, owner-drivers can take command of the 90 Argo as she is the largest Riva within the size limit to be driven without a master’s license. And what a fabulous feeling it is, whether at the main helm or up on the flybridge, the seagoing equivalent of a Rolls Royce: incredibly smooth, exceptionally quiet and supremely comfortable. Top speed is between 26 and 30 knots depending on engine choice.
The interior is accessed through full height automatic sliding glass doors beyond which there’s a spacious 40 square meter lounge with headroom of over 2.1 metres. It is furnished with a titanium coloured L-shaped Andersen sofa by Minotti, a coffee table by Acerbis and Rivera armchairs by Frag. Acerbis takes the stage in the dining area situated further forward with an elegant looking cut glass dining table with a chrome base, contoured by matching black leather Cassina chairs. The entire space is connected by seamless white parquet floors that gives you a sense of beach house living. The most advanced in Audio and visual technology also lives hidden in this space, ready to elevate your on-board experience.
Proceeding further forward beyond the galley and the access to the raised helm controls station on the bridge deck there’s the master suite which runs full beam across, covering an ample surface area of 30 square metres. It is made up of a walk in wardrobe, a large bathroom and a central skylight which brightens up the suite with plenty of natural light. It also features a 49 inch Smart television with Apple TV and Yamaha surround sound for all your Audio and Visual needs.
The guests quarters are made up of three VIP double cabins with en-suite bathrooms along the lower deck. The full beam aft double cabin that is of 20 square metres comprises of a walk in wardrobe and large bathroom as well as a 49 inch Smart television, Apple tv and Yamaha surround sound.
The owner’s suite and guest cabins are enriched with Carrara-marble lined surfaces, soft carpets and ultra-luxurious bedding from the White Company, all wrapped in timeless Italian design which creates an unparalleled space for relaxation.
She is endowed with striking design features such as full height glazed windows along the main deck and at the aft with thick cut glass surfaces.
All of this sports Riva’s true colours thus adding an extra elegant touch which blends well with the on-board technology.
With the range topping V16 MTU engines that produce over 2400 HP a top speed of 30 knots can be reached with ease. This also allows NOI to have an exceptionally long range at lower speeds. She is a comfortable cruiser with her 2 stabilising systems on board, making long journeys and crossings an incredibly enjoyable experience. NOI is also a fast yacht considering her size and displacement.
At a speed of 8 knots and good weather conditions the range goes up to 2000 nautical miles, while at a speed of 10 knots the range is still considerably fair at 1200 nautical miles and at 15 knots expect around 400 nautical miles.
As you climb on board you’re immediately welcomed by an inviting attractive space with a fully furnished surface area of 30 square metres featuring a pair of sofas, a low central table all of which can double as a lounge area with an ample six square metre sunbathing spot, or a dining area with a seating capacity of eight.
